Michael Jacobs is the Head Coach at the Lane Cove Aquatic Centre.  He has over 10 years coaching experience and holds an ASCTA Silver Licence, ASCA level 2 Strength and Conditioning Licence, Bachelors degrees in Science & Education, and a Masters in Sports Coaching. Prior to Lane Cove, Michael coached for Carlile Swimming at Narrabeen where the Club thrived at the State and National level. During this time he was able to work with multiple Australian junior and senior swimming team members. Michael is passionate about empowering swimmers to reach their full potential and achieve their goals.

  

 

 

Justin Rothwell is the High Performance Director for Bluefit at Lane Cove. With over 20 years experience, Justin is an ASCTA Gold licensed coach who has coached many swimmers onto the Australian Swimming team. Justin comes to us from the Carlile Swimming Club where he was the head coach at Narrabeen for the past 9 years. Justin has a true love for the sport of swimming, and is passionate about working with all levels of swimmers to achieve their best.

  

 

 

Pancha Thambo is the Senior Assistant Coach at the Lane Cove Aquatic Centre. He has over 20 years of coaching experience and hold an ASCTA Silver Licence. Pancha joins the Lane Cove team after being the Head Coach at PLC Sydney. Whilst at PLC Pancha coached many swimmers to the State and National Level. He has also coached Zoe Johnson and Annabel Williams who have both represented Australia in swimming. Pancha aims to coach to the best of his ability, focusing on swimming technique and how to swim to win.

             

Michael Creighton is the Head Coach at the Wenona facility in North Sydney. He has over 10 years of competitive coaching experience and holds an ASCTA Silver Licence. Since starting at Wenona Michael has coached multiple swimmers to compete at the State and National Level. He has also coached a Multi Class swimmer to the National Open level, placing her on the Swimming Australia Tokyo 2020 Development Team. Michaels number one goal with coaching is to provide a professional, enjoyable and challenging environment where athletes can be guided to reach their optimal physical potential in both competitive and non-competitive areas.
